DAY 1 Uma
Paro staff will welcome you at the airport for the 10 minute transfer to
the property. We invite you for a short guided walk in the afternoon in
and around Uma Paro for orientation and acclimatisation purposes. Paro (B/L/D) DAY 2 A walk to Zurig Dzong & Ta Dzong through pine forests, past the tiny monastery of Gemjola, located high above Uma Paro to pretty picnic spot in grounds of fortress-like monastery of Zuri Dzong. Traverse across to Ta Dzong, housing Bhutan’s National Museum (open six days a week) with magnificent views over Paro, and on to Rinpung Dzong. The trail then leads across Paro Chhu River via a traditional covered bridge (Nyamai Zam) and into Paro town.
Duration: 5 - 7 hours (depending on
time spent in National Museum and Paro) Paro (B/L/D) DAY 3 Drive 17 km to Drukgyul Dzong, built in 1644 by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal to control northern route to Tibet. The route is picturesque and the site of Dzong magnificent. Enjoy a picnic lunch in a peaceful orchard directly opposite Taktsang Monastery (the Tiger's Nest). Make a two-hour climb to viewpoint. Alternatively (time permitting) head further up to several remote dzongs.

DAY 4 Your
transfer to the airport will be arranged between 6:00 – 8:00hrs
depending on the flight schedule. Our package tour prices are inclusive of transfers and tours by air conditioned car/van with English-speaking guide, entrance fees, meals as specified in the program (B=Breakfast, L=Lunch, D=Dinner), accommodation in shared twin, one COMO Shamabala massage per person/ per stay, service charges and BST (Bhutan Sales Tax), airfare Bangkok - Paro - Bangkok incl. airport tax in Bhutan. Not included are visa fee (USD 20.00 payable upon arrival), international airport departure tax in Bangkok, other meals than mentioned in the program, surcharges during festival seasons, optional tours, and expenditures of a personal nature. *Note: Small deviations in the tour program are sometimes necessary, depending on road conditions and availability of rooms.
