Upon arrival at Sekupang
International Ferry Terminal, we will be escorted to an air-conditioned
coach and proceed to our first destination, Waterfront City,
which offers a wide range of activities.
We will bypass the biggest
bridge (Barelang, Fisabiliah Bridge) while on the way to a local product
shop
which sells coffee, batik, handicraft and more.
In the afternoon, we will stop
for lunch at a restaurant built of wood and bamboo over the sea.
Next, we will proceed to
Kampong Village where the Kuda Lumping Dance is performed by the local
villagers,
Thereafter, we will proceed to
Nagoya Town, which is the traditional centre of Batam. Leaving
the town, we head to Maha Vihara Duta Maitreya Temple (the
biggest Buddhist temple in the South East Asia).
Our last stop will be at the
popular shopping centers in Batam.
