Begin the historic journey at the National Museum of Singapore. Listen to interesting stories of Singapore’s multi-racial and multi-cultural society.
Next, you will proceed to the Singapore River Gallery at the Asian Civilisations Museum. Chinese legend has it that the Chinese immigrants set up home only on the south bank of the river as it resembled the concave belly of a carp and that represented prosperity and wealth.
Thereafter, our journey continues with a bumboat ride at Raffles Landing Site. While cruising the Singapore River, one can admire magnificent colonial government buildings that reflect Singapore’s colonial heritage. Final destination will be Royal Selangor to see how pewter is used to make various items followed by a taste of local refreshment to end a wonderful journey through the history of Singapore.
