Start off the evening with
dinner served. After dinner, we will drive past Orchard Road towards
Suntec City to enjoy the beautiful sight of the world's largest fountain
known as "Fountain of Wealth".
Thereafter, we head for Clarke Quay to catch a bumboat ride along
Singapore River. Shops, bars, discotheques and restaurants lines
the river banks. The cruise ends at Merlion Park, where we board
the coach for a scenic ride via Benjamin Sheares Bridge towards the
eastern side of the island.
Next, we proceed to Geylang, which is popular for its night
activities and eating spots. Here, we stop to taste and sample some of
the local seasonal tropical fruits of Asia before we turn back to the
city.
Out last stop is at Bugis Village, which was made infamous by
sailors during the 60's. At the bustling night market "market malam",
bargains can be found for varieties of products.
The tour ends with a drive past the Grand Old Lady-Raffles Hotel, famous
for its Singapore Sling!
